6 June 1986 – Incorporated Association status recognised.
2000 – Began lobbying Hurstville Council for new Facilities to house the
activities of the KCAC community service programs.
2004-2016 – Recognised and Awarded Certificates of Appreciation by the
Australian Taxation Commission for valuable services given to
the community for the Tax Help program.
2005 – Received PBI Status (Charity Status)
2006 – Awarded recognition from the Combined Churches of Hurstville
for support to the local community.
2010 – Awarded recognition from Hurstville City Council for volunteer
Support.
2010 – Successfully moved into the new KCAC facilities at 30 Morgan St
Kingsgrove.
2011 – Awarded recognition from NSW Seniors Week Committee for
Active Involvement of CALD Communities.
2012 – Winner of the St George Local Business Award in Community Services.
2012 – Finalists in the St George Local Business Awards for Out of School
Hours care services, Kingsgrove OOSHC & Hurstville OOSHC.
2012 – Southern Sydney Region training award for best trainee of the
year.
2012 – Award for the St George Community Services Award for
outstanding Services to the St George Community. Mr Mark
Coure, State MP.
2013 – Launched the KCAC Strategic Plan for 2013-2018.
2014 – Awarded recognition of appreciation for work in partnering with
NOVA Employment for support to people with disabilities.
2014 – Recognised by NRMA for services to the Local Community in
providing awareness to Road Safety.
2016 – Celebrated a major milestone 50th Anniversary with a community
festival.
2017 – CEO Anne Farah-Hill awarded the St George Woman of the Year from the Premieres Dept of NSW.
– Launched the NEW KCAC website.
